Our Mission
To assist individuals in achieving self-sufficiency by providing the resources, education, and services necessary to develop healthy families, sustainable communities, and strong local businesses. Indianhead Community Action Agency is a private, non-profit agency established in 1966 that provides programs and services to address the needs of low-income children, families, individuals, seniors, and veterans in six primary counties in Northwestern Wisconsin. The Agency was established during the Johnson Administration under the Economic Opportunity Act and the “War on Poverty” to create new opportunities to help individuals attain self-sufficiency.
